Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Main Exam Pattern 2023
Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has also amended the main examination pattern from this year 2023. Earlier, only 4 papers were conducted in BPSC CCE Main Exam, which include General Hindi, General Studies Paper I and II and Optional Paper, but from the year 2023, essay papers will also be included in the BPSC Main Exam Pattern.
This amendment has also been made so that the problem of scaling/normalization of the optional paper in the main examination can be removed.
The year 2023 BPSC Main Exam Pattern will consist of 5 papers consisting of General Hindi and Optional paper which will be qualifying in nature.
For the optional paper, the candidate has to choose any one subject out of the total 34 subjects, which the candidate should fill carefully while applying. This optional paper and the General Hindi paper will be of qualifying nature, so this year the main examination will be for a total of 1100 marks. Will be conducted, in which candidates will get marks out of 900 marks.
Each paper will be of three hours duration, except the optional paper, all other papers will be of subjective nature.
